Sweet and Salty Valentine Popcorn

I promise that someday, I will write about something other than sweets but this is just too cute, too tasty and too festive to pass up.  Valentine Popcorn!  I mean who could resist popcorn coated with candy melts, sprinkled with sea salt and tossed with pink and red M&Ms!  Happy Valentine’s Day!

Sweet and Salty Valentine Popcorn
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
1 bag Colorburst Pastels Candy Melts
1 bag Valentine M&Ms
Sea Salt to taste
Pop the popcorn and set aside.
Place candy melts in a small pot over low heat.
Stir often until completely melted.
Pour over the popcorn and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with Sea Salt.
Add M&Ms
and gently toss.
Place on waxed paper until set.
Enjoy some with your Valentine and share with those you love ♥

It is too pretty to pass up. Valentine M&M's always remind me of our wedding. We got married in early March and used these as our favors. love them.

Hi – I was wondering if you had every used white choc chips instead of the candy melts. Just wanted to use what I had at home.

    Thanks!

I don’t know I have never tried white chocolate chips. I think it could work you would just have to be careful when melting the white chocolate as it can be a bit tricky.
