Magic Bars

My mom was not a gourmet cook. She was a good cook but definitely not gourmet. She cooked and she baked the very basics for our family. Magic Bars were a basic in our household. They required very few ingredients, minimal time and were always a hit. Now that my sister and I are grown, they have become a staple dessert in each of our houses as well. They are the “go to” dessert, if you will. Someone is having a potluck, a baby, a bad day… time to make some Magic Bars. They are fast, easy and delicious. Make some today :)
