These are gorgeous, and delicious too, I'm sure!
Yum, I made a batch of these last year and they were so good. Yours look every bit as delicious and tempting. I have a sweet treat linky party going on at my blog called "Sweets for a Saturday" and I'd like to invite you to stop by this weekend and link your brownies
up. http://sweet-as-sugar-cookies.blogspot.com/2011/02/sweets-for-saturday-4.html
I just made these this afternoon! They are a HUGE hit so far. Very rich and fudgy with a true red velvet taste (I was skeptical). I baked them quite a bit longer than 35 minutes and they could have stood another 5 minutes or so but I like mine a bit softer. I used heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut them and they turned out really lovely. Thank you!
Two of my favorite things- red velvet cake and cheesecake. yum! These are beautiful too. I've seen something similar before but the recipe called for a cake mix. I'm glad these don't.
I can't wait to try these. I searched online for a red velvet bar recipe awhile ago and I could only find one using a box mix and they turned out really good, but I would much rather make it from scratch. I love the marble effect.
Wow, the swirls you made are perfect! Looks so professional. :) Thanks for sharing the steps by steps instructions. Make it so much easier.

These are gorgeous Allie! I agree with the other comments – they are very well done – so perfect! They look rich and fudgy too, just the way I like them.
I never thought of making red velvet brownies!
Once I saw the ingredients you were using, I decided we need to be neighbors! Great recipe.
These look amazing, I can't wait to try making them
WOW LOOKS YUMMY!
Oh, good grief! Those look delicious!
Just made these, they're still warm in the pan :) They turned out great! I had to cook a little longer than 35 mins (I left them in for 50 and they are nice and spongy, but for those that like em a little gooey, I'd say 40-45). They are definitely rich, make sure you have a glass of milk on hand. I wonder how fast these will disappear tomorrow when the family gets at them ;)
I made these and i forgot to add the flour to the bottom luckily i remembered and added some but it seemed a bit stiff even with the right measurements i prefer mine much softer, i'm still cooking them right now as i type!
I'm pretty sure even if i screwed it up that it will taste fantastic but i'm vegan but i ended up having to use eggs but i did try not to add eggs very
I'm making these tonight to serve for my dad's birthday tomorrow. Can't wait and I know he's gonna love them! thanks so much!
My baby girl found this through Stumble and sent it as a hint for her Welcome Home for Spring Break dinner. I made them yesterday and took them to a family cookout. They were a huge hit and will definitely be made again soon.
To the vegan above: Try mixing ground flax seed and water and using it as an egg substitute. I believe the ratio is 1T ground flax + 3T water = 1 egg. Just mix and let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes before adding it to the other ingredients.
I just poped some a batch in the oven!!! I hope they turn out well!!!
I made these a couple days ago. They turned out great, but not nearly as red as they look here.
I think in the future I'll just leave out the food colouring and just call them cheesecake brownies.
The red and white marbling make it look like a fine cut of meat.
I baked these brownies this weekend. They were delicious! I will definitely be making this again the future. Thanks for the recipe.
DELICIOUS! Thanks for the recipe. I will definitely be making these more in the future!
Made some today for my dad's birthday and he LOVED them! Thanks!
Just made these…they turned out perfectly and SO delicious!!!
Just put these in the oven, hopefully they turn out well. I think I might have screwed up the cheesecake part, but I'm sure they will taste delicious either way. Great recipe.
how perfect – cheesecake AND red velvet!! two of my favorite desserts!
My girlfriend and I just made these tonight and they came out soooooooo good! they look just like the picture! we had to halve the recipe though because I forgot to get more butter but in a 9×9 pan they cooked fine! would highly recommend for families or buttering someone up!
My father loves cheesecake and red velvet cake, I'll have to make these for him (and an extra batch for myself!). These look so good!

Can you use chocolate chips?
Sure :)
Thank you for the answer!
These are my go-to sweets recipe. They’re so easy to make and SOOOOOO delicious. The texture is amazing and they go fantastically with a glass of milk. Love this recipe!
Does this dessert freeze well? It looks delicious!
I have never tried freezing this but I think most everything freezes well :)
This may seem like dumb question, but can I sub regular choc for dark? We arent huge dark chocolate fans in my house
Of course!
